  • How do I know what size band I want?
    Think about your venue size and budget. We’ll do our absolute best to ensure you get what will work perfectly and happy to discuss options with you.
  • How much do you cost and why are prices not on the website?
    Each band have a standard price but there may be additional costs for travel and the number of musicians you hire. Its a lot simpler to get a quote so there are no added costs once you book.
  • What is Included In The Price?
    Amplified Bands - *In our basic price, aside from your musicians we also include FREE: iPod DJ between sets, multicoloured stage lighting and PA for up to 150 guests as well as a complimentary Sound Engineer to ensure your night sounds like a live soundtrack! That's a saving of nearly £900! For larger events, we advise having a look at our event services , where you will find more suitable equipment. * Our arrival time is usually from 17.30 and end at 00.00 Acoustic Bands - Simply turns up and play. The difference is, were not specific about times! We turn up when you want and finish by the end of that day! If you have a larger event and require amplification, this can be supplied as an extra. Just 'Get in touch' and we'll get you the best price!
  • How far do you travel?
    We are an International Collective who travel all around the World.
  • Can we choose our first dance?
    Absolutely! Just give us at least three weeks notice to give us time to learn anything that’s not currently in our set. If requested, we can play an original artist version on MP3 for your first dance. However, we would ask that you please specify clearly which version of the song you would like. We find that providing us with the specific YouTube link works very well.
  • Can we request that you play / don’t play any songs from your list?
    Of course you can. Just give us at least 3 weeks notice as we usually put the set together within that time.
  • Can I request a particular style?
    Of course! Once you want to book, we'll have a chat about genres and song requests. We offer a bespoke service for each and every client!
  • How late can you play until?
    Our average finish time is midnight at no extra cost but we can play until your party stops and have done it many times before.
  • How long will it take you to set up your equipment?
    Our amplifed bands won't be more than 90 mins from the time we get through the door! If you want us to be quicker than that just let us know. TSG just turn up and play! The girls will usually turn up around 60 minutes in a dance but this can be arranged according to your event.
  • Can we use your mic for speeches?
    Of course! Just let us know in advance and we'll get our Sound Engineer to be on hand.
  • How much space do you need?
    Optimum spaces would be: 5 piece - 3x4m 7 piece - 5x4m 10 piece - 6x4m * Please note we have also worked in MUCH tighter space with all of our bands and had a GREAT PARTY!
  • What if I can't pay all at once?
    We accept instalments if you need it. All you need is 20% for your UK deposit and 50% for international deposits. The rest you can pay however you like up until the performance date!
  • Are there any hidden costs?
    No. We currently do not charge VAT. We do ask for a meal, soft drinks for each band member and sound engineer as well as 1 green room for them to change/eat and be out of your hair as they will usually be there from 17.00 - 00.00. Parking and Congestion in London may be chargeable, but we always do what we can to keep these costs down for you and advise in advance.
  • I've never booked a band before. What do I do now?
    We make the procedure as simple as possible. Once you've got in touch, we'll either speak on the phone or via email. One of our representatives will send you a super simple checklist. Once we've secured the date and have the information we need, we take care of EVERYTHING ELSE regarding the performance. All you need to do is ensure you're ready for a good party! It really is that simple!
  • How many songs can I request?
    You can request up to 5 songs including your first dance for your set. But don't worry, we will ask you for a general feel of the evening to make sure we can make it as personal for you as possible.
  • Can you help me choose the best options?
    Of course! Drop us a message via our contact form and we can go through all of your options or offer something totally bespoke to your event.
  • What equipment do you provide?
    We provide all of the equipment in order to play. Our PA, which will be for our amplified bands (The She All Stars and The Disco Dolls. We provide a PA for up to 150 guests. If you need a larger system, just let us know and we will provide at an additional cost. We can also supply extras like extra lights, staging and larger PA’s.
  • Do we need to provide anything?
    As well as ensuring that there's enough space for the band to perform and a dancefloor for your guests, the band would need a Green Room. This is just a room away from your guests where they can safely store their belongings and discuss the show and rest in between. Pleasenote, this would not be a toilet and ideally not outside unless agreed in advance.
  • The venue we’ve booked has a noise limiter. Can you still play?
    We can indeed, but do let us know. Also some venues may have restrictions on what instruments can play at what time. Do speak to the venue Manager or we’ll happily do it for you if needed. We can work around most things!
  • What happens once I’ve made a booking?
    The booking process is very simple. One you’ve agreed on what band you want and prices, let us know and we’ll get a booking form over to you along with your deposit and final invoices as separate documents. Once that's all agreed on and the deposit paid, we’ll arrange a time to have our ‘Set List Party' , where we’ll go over songs and arrange final details. In between that, we’ll be working in the background ensuring all of the musical entertainment will be first class for your event. All you have to do is get ready to party !
  • What if I need to cancel?
    Once you’ve booked, you have up to 14 days for a full refund, after that there is a cancellation policy that depends on the date that goes as follows.
  • How long do you perform for?
    Most sets are between 2 x 45 mins and 2 x 60 min sets depending on the band and the package you’ve chosen. We can also do sets for up to 1 hour which works really well for afternoon wedding ceremonies.
  • Can we request songs?
    Of course, depending on the Wedding Package you chose, will determine what how many songs you can pick for your set. Its generally between 5 - 10 songs. We think that's best and from there, we’ll design a set list based on your preferences and to ensure the set flows well for all of the guests in the room and ensure that the dancefloor is packed.
  • How long are the intervals?
    The intervals are usually around 30 minutes long but this can be longer to suit your requirements on the day.
  • What time should the band start playing?
    This is completely up to you and your schedule on the day. For evening events, we find it's often best to start the band at around 8pm but this is purely a guide.
  • Does the band provide music between and before sets?
    Our amplified bands provide music via an iPad/ laptop between sets, this is usually a pre-mixed playlist. If you have particular songs in mind, you're also welcome to create your own playlists which can be played through the band's PA system. Our acoustic bands do not offer this service.
  • What will the band wear?
    Function bands will usually dress smart in suits or shirt and trousers. If you've chosen a band with a particular image, then you can expect the band to be dressed in a similar style to their promotional videos and photos.
  • How do I confirm a booking?
    If you would like to book a band, we will need your full address and contact details along with the venue address. We will then send over a contract with full terms and conditions included. This will then need to be signed and returned to confirm the booking. A deposit of approximately 15-20% will be also be required, this is payable by BACS or online card payment. An invoice with payment details will be included with the contract.
  • Are there any hidden fees such as VAT?
    No, all fees such as VAT are included in the price where applicable.
  • Does the price quoted include travel costs and expenses?
    Yes, all quotes include travel expenses.
  • Does the band provide their own PA system / Sound equipment?
    Yes, all bands are self-contained and provide suitable sound equipment. If you require a PA for one of our acoustic bands or a larger PA for an event over 150 people, just let us know in advance and we’ll get that sorted for you.
  • Do we need to hire a raised stage?
    A stage is something we do advise as it's always a great addition to a performance but is not a requirement. We are happy to discuss your options with you.
  • s the band PAT tested with adequate public liability insurance (PLI)?
    Yes, if the venue requires a certificate for either of the above, we have them so just let us know, but do give us at least a week's notice.
